Economical Blended Organic Mushroom Compost

Mushroom compost is an efficient, economical way to condition your soil, improving the quality and nutrient value of the soil it is added to, and promoting improved growth of decorative or food plants.

Our mushroom compost is composed of composted agricultural straw and rotted manure, resulting in compost that is easy to crumble, spread and work with. Thanks to the compost's chemical and physical composition, it is perfect for improving the texture of heavy clay soils, or adding humus to nutrient deficient soils.

What's more, as our compost is fully steam sterilised before leaving the mushroom farm, it will not introduce any weeds or other pests to your site.

For general soil improvement a 50mm layer should be spread over the area to be treated, then forked or rotavated in. A 75mm layer could be considered with very poor soils.
