What is Puddling Clay Used For?

How Much Do I Need?

 

It is recommended that the clay is laid at a depth of 200-300mm but heavier applications may require more. If you are unsure its always best to consult your landscaper or project manager

How Long Will It Last?

Puddling clay will last a long time if kept in an air tight bag. If left for long periods of time the clay may dry out but it can easily be hydrated again by simply adding water.

What Is The Clay Like?

 

The puddling clay is like...well clay! It can be applied manually or mechanically and is soft and easy to work with when well hydrated. If the clay is exposed to air, it will dry out , however you can just add water to rehydrate back to a putty like state.

Is It Natural?

 

Woodfields puddling clay is 100% natural. It is dug from the ground at the site of a prehistoric lake and it doesn't really come much more natural than that! We add nothing to this fantastic totally natural product.

How Is It Delivered?

 

All 15kg bags are delivered via courier in a sturdy cardboard box. Larger quantities are delivered via a lorry the same size as a dustbin lorry. The driver will have a pallet truck to place the goods in a convenient location.
